We’re really excited to announce that we are strategic partners for SDN’s inaugural Apprenticeship Breakthrough Conference on 29th April in Birmingham.

The Conference, for front-line trainers/assessors, won’t just be focused on government policy – it will be practical, interactive, action-focused, and affordable. Delegates will leave the day with insights, tools and actions specific to their role, that will help adapt and improve their practice in the months ahead.

This conference is unique, and is a great CPD opportunity for front-line teams.

Early bird rates (only £95 +vat) are available for a limited time only. Find out more and book your place here

In the morning, you will:

  • hear from leading EPAOs on the outcome of their first end-point assessments, how apprentices are faring, and what it means for on-programme delivery
  • interact with those who have worked right through the new apprenticeship process – an apprentice, a trainer, an employer and an end-point assessor

In the afternoon, you will:

  • unpick key findings from Ofsted inspections of providers now delivering apprenticeship standards
  • attend deep-dive development sessions with our expert team, to help you work through changes to your specific role and the actions you can take

There will also be a chance to network, share ideas and hear from those who have dealt with the day-to-day challenges of delivering apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment.

When and where?

Monday, 29 April 2019 (10am-4pm) at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham. Early bird rates of £95 (+vat) are available for a limited time – the standard rate is £145 (+vat).

Who should attend?

The conference is open to all those involved in the apprenticeship process – in particular, on-programme training provider / trainers and End-Point Assessment Organisations / assessors.

Why you and your staff should attend?

SDN has worked directly with over 900 apprenticeship training providers and 3,000 staff to deliver apprenticeship standards. We’ve also supported 50 of the first EPAOs and their assessor teams to set-up and start delivering end-point assessment. This conference brings together our work in both camps, allowing us to share the latest practice, insights and perspectives from across the sector.
